What is a Collateral (Pawn) Loan?
A Pawn loan is a loan that is secured by collateral help by the Pawn Broker. Collector’s World loans money on most valuables such as jewellery, gold, silver, vehicles, quality watches, medals and more. Your item/s will be examined and a final value will be determined – you decide how much you require. A one page contract reflecting the BuyBack amount and date will be completed and you will receive a copy, we will also take a copy of your Identity Document.
How Does Pawn Work?
The pawn process is much the same as any other lending institutions, with the primary difference being the use of collateral instead of credit. At Collector’s World , we hold and safely store your personal collateral items until the loan is paid in full. All contracts are calculated on a 30day basis – what we advance today will be due for BuyBack after 30 days Contracts may be extended within 30 days with a minimum payment should you not be in a position to settle. Your item/s will be returned once all monies due have been paid. A one page contract reflecting the BuyBack amount and date will be completed and you will receive a copy, we will also take a copy of your Identity Document.

Please remember!! The item will be forfeited and sold should you not buy your item back on or before the date specified on the contract or pay the minimum required to extend the contract.

Minimum requirements for a BUYBACK OPTION on VEHICLES:
  • The vehicle must be registered in your name for at least 6 months
  • We will require identification as well as the original registration papers.
  • Vehicle license must be up to date
