Five Shillings – Paul Kruger ZAR Double Shaft Crown 1892
In 1892 two varieties of 5 shilling pieces were struck, one at the Royal Prussian Mint at Berlin and the other at the Pretoria Mint.
The coins struck in Berlin were incorrect, showing a double-shafted oxwagon with all wheels of equal diameter. This coin is known as the Double Shaft.
